Schedule: M-F 8:30-5:30 PM Description The Mortgage Closing Specialist role is responsible for supporting various Channels. As the Mortgage Closing Specialist, you will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. + Perform routine data entry and validation tasks + Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.) + Review and validate loan documents + Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses + Monitor work queues and intervening as needed + Working with Refinance Loans and Purchase Loans. + Scrubbing Loan Files. Making sure taxes and insurance are correct. + Goal is to be closing 8-10 Loans A Day. + Working with Urgency, in fast paced environment. + You will not be speaking with barrowers directly. Qualifications *Mortgage Closing Experience required* + General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local mortgage regulations a plus + Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently + Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment + Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment + Effective time management skills to deliver work on time + Capable communicator, written and oral + Strong negotiation skills with ability to effectively resolve problems + Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.) + Encompass Experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
